Advent Honored at BMA Lantern Awards, Second Year in a Row
November 2008—The Business Marketing Association (BMA) - Houston, has
bestowed ADVENT with three Awards of Excellence at this year’s annual
BMA Lantern Awards ceremony. The Advent creative team was awarded for
its innovative efforts for a print ad (space advertisement category) for QCI
Marine; for exhibit design (trade show, exhibits and special events category)
for Superior Energy; and for a fully integrated marketing campaign (total communications
program category) for Fisher HealthCare Superheroes trade show event.
The Lantern Awards brings recognition to top quality creative work and business-to-business
marketing excellence throughout the state. The Lanterns are awarded for
conceptual design creations and multimedia communication environments for marketing
and other industry professionals. Individuals, for-profit and non-profit
businesses alike from around the state can enter their best material to be
judged by a jury of their peers, based on the criteria of how well each entry
would generate awareness, interest, desire and action from a targeted business
audience.
Each year the campaign highlights the pursuit of excellence by the profession
and showcases the important role that marketing plays both in society and
business environments. Last year, Advent won four BMA Awards for its
excellence in marketing.
